Bunbury Regional Art Gallery is proud to be presenting a version of Iluka Visions since 1991.  

Iluka Visions showcases artworks created by students in years 7 - 12 from high schools across the South West region stretching from Mandurah to Manjimup and serves to underscore the important role of art education in a holistic learning experience.  This year saw over 1000 submissions from 20 schools resulting in 130 artworks being exhibited. 

The official Opening and Awards Ceremony took place on Sunday 17 September where this year's winners were announced. 

The award winners for this year's Iluka Visions are as follows:

Year 7/8

Highly Commended: Stingrays in Dunn’s Ocean – Darliah Chandler, Harvey Senior High School

Winner: Blue Lobster - Riley Andersen, Australind Senior High School

Year 9/10

Highly Commended: The Messenger – Mazlyn Membry, Manjimup Senior High School

Winner: The Girl Playing the Piano - Justine Manalad, Grace Christian School

Year 11/12

Highly Commended: Distances – Amy Hunt, Bunbury Catholic College

Winner: Magkasama/Together - Samantha Nicolas, Bunbury Catholic College

Equity Award

Highly Commended: The Foil – Bruce White and Aeddan Jones, Harvey Senior High School

Winner: Bugs of Life – Cael Oatway, Cooper Devries-Turner, Caleb Humbley, Loghan Kingsley, Bodhi Jacobs, College Row
