Venue Hire

Various rooms are available for hire for meetings, cultural activities and functions. Room descriptions, sizes and conditions of use are designed to help determine the most appropriate venue for your function. Tables, chairs, crockery, urn and presentation equipment can be provided by request in all rooms.


The Dance Studio is housed on the ground floor of the Galleries and is used predominately for dance classes and workshops. The floors are unsealed floorboards and it has a ballet barre and mirror down one side, making it ideal for all styles of dance and performance classes. The Dance Studio is 60m2 and is accessible from the car park adjacent the Galleries.


The Meeting Room is a smaller area of 20m2 which is housed on the second floor of the building. It is mostly used for smaller meetings or seminars or training workshops. The meeting room has one manually controlled air conditioning system, mounted whiteboard and has a sink to one side of the room. The ideal capacity for meeting room events is 5-14 people.


Studio 2 adjoins the Courtyard. The Galleries runs its own art classes, but this space is available for hire for ad-hoc workshops and regular bookings.


As Bunbury Regional Art Galleries is housed in a former convent, the Chapel forms a major feature of the building. The Chapel has striking stained glass windows, an antique tiled walkway and vaulted ceilings. It provides a distinct venue for weddings and social functions.  Hire of the Chapel is at the discretion of the gallery director, and dependent on compatibility with gallery programming.

The Chapel is located on the second floor of the Galleries and has disabled access upon request. The room is 2162m and has a choir loft at the eastern end. The capacity of the Chapel Galleries is 120 people seated and up to 180 people standing.
