The City of Bunbury is undertaking a quality interpretation at the end of Jetty Road, Bunbury where the Arrol Crane now stands and was the location of the former timber jetty. This location is surrounded by the waters of Koombana Bay and the City is wanting to celebrate the local Noongar use of this space and its surrounding water. As the artist, you are invited to interpret a contemporary artistic response to Noongar people using this area- swimming, fishing, gathering on this area. Showcasing the historical and current use of this area by Noongar people. Full or partial imagery will be used digitally in the context of developing signage panels.
Responding to the brief, create a medium size artwork of approximately
40cm x 60cm
The City of Bunbury is looking to contract a local Indigenous Artist. Please apply with a sketch of your ideas around this theme and two pictures of previous Art works by the 16 December 2020.
