Expressions of Interest close Sunday 5th November

BRAG is calling for expressions of interest from artists wishing to exhibit in our Convent Gallery in 2018.  Applications will be accepted from individual artists, artist groups or curators who live and/or work in South West WA.

BRAG’s Convent Gallery offers free exhibition opportunities for emerging artists and has a strong regional focus.  Proposals should include a brief description of how the exhibition is relevant to the South West.  Exhibitions should also be cohesive and well thought through; there should be a clear connection between the works in the show.   All artworks must be created in the 18 months prior to exhibition, and may not have been exhibited in the South West before.  There are a limited number of spaces available in this callout round, and artists/curators are encouraged to contact the gallery to discuss their proposal prior to submitting. 

Works in all mediums will be considered, however 2 dimensional works should use the gallery hanging system and the Convent Gallery has limited suitability for audio-visual works.
