Noongar Country Exhibition Entry

Noongar Country Exhibition is an annual exhibition hosted by Bunbury Regional Art Galleries as part of the Noongar Community Cultural Development Programme.

Each year BRAG decide upon a theme for Noongar Country exhibition. In past years themes included Noongar Waangkininy (Noongar Talking), Kaal Waangkininy (Fire Talking), Ngalang Boordiya (Our Bosses), The Noongar Six Seasons, The 1964 Referendum and the Roelands Mission. This years theme is Koorliny Mia, Coming Home.

The theme Koorliny Mia, Coming Home was chosen by BRAG as we felt that this theme could mean many things to the Indigenous community; family, country, history and traditions providing an endless supply of inspiration for all artists taking part in Noongar Country exhibition. We hope that you enjoy exploring and discovering this theme.

Noongar Country Koorliny Mia, Coming Home exhibition is open to senior artists, emerging artists, community group, schools and youth.
