BRAG offers a range of education opportunities and resources for all levels from pre-primary to tertiary education. Book your school group in for an exhibition tour or building history tour free of charge, or extend your visit to include an art workshop in our studio on a cost recovery basis.

Exhibition Tours

BRAG’s extensive exhibition programme offers many educational opportunities across all curriculum areas. Tour guides are able to cater our exhibition tours to the needs of your class and to link our current exhibitions to your class’s topic of inquiry.

Building History Tours

The foundation stone of the BRAG building was laid in 1897, making it one of Bunbury’s significant historic sites. Originally a convent, the building has undergone several changes as a school and, finally, and art gallery. Building history tours can easily be combined with exhibition tours.

BRAG understands that it can be difficult to get your school groups to us, so we are able to facilitate a number of outreach opportunities to bring the arts to you. We are able to bring virtual exhibition slide shows to your school, or to organise practicing artists to visit your schools. These programmes operate on a cost recovery basis.

Teaching resources

Many of our travelling exhibitions come with excellent teaching resources which we are able to pass on to teachers and schools. If there is an exhibition in our programme that you are interested in then please contact us for more information.

Work experience

BRAG offers work experience placements for students in high school and tertiary level education. Please contact us in advance as work experience places are limited.

Bring your class to BRAG’s specialised art studio for an art workshop! These workshops can be combined with exhibition tours and provide some valuable hands-on time for the students. Workshops are run on a cost recovery basis, please enquire with BRAG for more information.
